Getting to Summit
1131 SW Skamania Lodge Way
Stevenson, WA 98648
This year’s Summit will take place at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. Summit attendees are responsible for booking their own travel arrangements.
If you are flying in, Skamania Lodge is about an hour’s drive from Portland International Airport. We recommend you rent a car — not only is it the more cost-effective option, it will allow you to explore the Gorge. If you are interested in a taxi, Uber, town car or Lyft, reach out to email@example.com.
Skamania Lodge is located off State Route 14 on the Washington side of the Gorge, a mile and a half east of Bridge of the Gods. Parking is included in your lodging, though valet costs $10 per night. Directions to parking lots are well-marked once you reach the lodge.
Plan to arrive by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 10.
Hotel check-in begins at 4 p.m., though the staff can store luggage if you arrive early. Please check in with the front desk.
Once you have checked in, head to the OETC table in the lobby. OETC staff will be there starting at 3 p.m. Thursday to provide you with a name tag and other conference materials.
If you arrive after 6 p.m., any OETC team member can help you get checked in to Summit. Event check-in will re-open at 7 a.m. Friday.
Megan Bigelow, the founder and board president of Portland Women in Tech, will run the pre-conference session, which starts at 5:30 p.m. and is preceded by a cocktail reception at 5 p.m.
Conference check-in opens at 3 p.m. Thursday, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
The conference kicks off with the opening keynote, Michael C. Bush at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, October 11.See the full schedule
