iPads For Administrators: Beginning Workshop

Description:

This session focuses on effective iPad integration from both a conceptual and practical standpoint. It begins with understanding what the iPad device provides – and what it doesn’t – as well as how to maximize its features. The session features helpful iPad ”tips and tricks,” including the best and essential apps to boost productivity and ensure smooth workflow.

This hands-on workshop covers the initial setup of your iPad and topics will include:

  • Adding and sharing content
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi
  • Sending email
  • Utilizing the built in features for organization and productivity

Integrated, hands-on activities and opportunities to explore the bells and whistles of the iPad is a highlight whenever it’s presented. Consider and discuss how the  iPad changes the way schools, teachers and students access the web, share media, and learn on the go. Results show it impacts pedagogy, raising achievement and engagement.
