iPad in Education: Beginning Workshop

Right out of the box the functionality of the iPad makes it a great personal and classroom learning mobile device. This hands-on workshop covers the initial setup of your iPad. Additional topics will include:

  • Adding email accounts
  • iPad Bootcamp
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi
  • Utilizing the pre-installed apps
  • Using the camera
  • Downloading apps

Fun hands-on activities and opportunities to explore new Apps make this session a highlight whenever it’s presented. The iPad changes the way administrators, teachers and students access the web, share media, and learn on the go. Results show it impacts pedagogy, raising achievement and engagement.

Audience: Administrators, Teachers, Classified Staff

Prerequisite: Have an iTunes account already setup. If you are bringing your own iPad, please have iOS6 installed.

iPad Included in Registration

OETCs iPad Trainings include the option to purchase one of four iPads at registration. If the participant prefers an iPad with different features, you may purchase your own.
