What is happening with Adobe CS6?
Adobe has announced the end of Creative Suite (CS) line of products. Future products will be released under the Creative Cloud (CC) brand.
Can I still buy Adobe CS6?
Yes. The OETC will offer Adobe CS6 for the foreseeable future.
How long will Adobe support CS6?
Adobe Creative Suite 6 will be supported by Adobe for at least two more years. That means it will receive critical updates, and continue to be compatible with upcoming OSs like Mac OS X Mavericks, and Windows 8.1.
Can I buy Creative Cloud (CC) through the OETC?
Not yet. The licensing for Creative Cloud is so new that we haven’t been able to craft an RFP, but are working on an RFP and hope to have one shortly.
Do I need an RFP for my Creative Cloud purchases?
Creative Cloud licensing is a purchase just like any other, and thus at certain pricing thresholds, yes, you may need RFP to ensure compliance with state purchasing laws.
