Today, April 23, 2012, Adobe announced CS6 with availability within 30 days.
Typically volume license, pricing and media comes after the retail announcement. We’ve been told by our vendor that May 7, 2012 will be the first day they can accept volume license orders. If true, OETC member orders should begin the following week. Alongside the announcement of CS6 Adobe will be announcing a new FTE pricing model for certain software bundles. Adobe and OETC have not finalized how we will administer that for our membership. We will update the membership as soon as we know more.Pre-Orders
OETC does not accept pre-orders as a precaution against changing terms and license requirements from manufacturers. Once we do have CS6 it will be on our Consortium Store with instant license key generation just like CS5.5 titles.
A note about CS5.5
If you bought CS5.5 on or after March 26th OETC will send you a free upgrade license to CS6 after it is available on the Consortium Store. CS6 media will be an additional cost.
CS Maintenance
If own current maintenance for a qualifying CS product simply purchase the corresponding CS6 media and indicate in the comment field the purchase order number (PO #), the order confirmation number (OCS #) or the invoice number (INV#) on which you purchased maintenance, and we will fulfill your media request.
